This makes MacKellar Automotive the only ISO certified automotive embroider in North America. Additionally, although ISO is a standard in the automotive industry, few companies in the promotional and incentive markets are ISO Certified.

Bloomfield Hills, December 19, 2003- MacKellar Associate's Incentive Marketing Division has been awarded the exclusive merchandising and promotional products contract for the 2004 Woodward Dream Cruise (WDC). 

The Dream Cruise is the world's largest one-day automotive event. This year, it will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2004 (or the third Saturday in August). The Dream Cruise is estimated to attract approximately 2 million visitors and over 30,000 cars -- from muscle cars to collector vehicles.

MACKELLAR ASSOCIATES, INC. CELEBRATES 80 YEARS

Bloomfield Hills, January 23, 2003- MacKellar Associates, Inc. will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2003. 

“Throughout our 80 years, we had to change with the face of business,” said Jeff Ignatowski, VP of Sales and Marketing. “However, with each change one thing always remained the same: our commitment to our principals, the industries, our employees and our business ethics.”

MacKellar Associates, Inc. was founded in 1923 when Malcolm MacKellar began his agency representing two woolen mills selling woolen body cloth, upholstery and headliners to the Automotive Industry, which included Packard Motor Company, Studebaker and the "Big Three". MacKellar Associates was a small one-man sales operation which continued for over 20 years and developed a reputation of honesty, integrity and excellent service. Eventually, third and fourth generation family members joined the operation to continue the long-standing excellence and service as a manufacturers' representative.
